I have a Diploma of Children's Services (0-5yrs) and 15 years child care experience gained within a variety of child care settings.

I have also gained experience whilst raising my own three children.

I believe children have the right to be what they want to be and grow and develop at their own rate. All children are different and need to be treated as individuals. I also believe that it is my role to assist the children in growing, developing and learning in a safe and happy environment.

Hi! My name is Debbie.
 
I am married and my husband is a bus mechanic. I have four children of my own, two teenage boys, and twins: a boy and a girl who are 12 years old.
 
I started doing family day care in 1996 and still enjoy it today. I am aware that children learn and develop best in a relaxed, secure and loving environment. I will ensure that the children in my care form a strong attachment to me and their peers.
 
I have a Diploma in Childcare, which assists me to understand children’s development. The children in my care go to music, playgroup and the library. I access toys from the toy library and have a large selection of toys in my home.
 
I believe that all children need positive role models to learn what socially acceptable behaviours are. Therefore, I will ensure that all children will be given positive guidance at all times.
 
I open my service at 7.00am and close at 4.30pm Monday to Friday. I close for three weeks in January each year to spend some time with my family.

Hi! I’m Estelle.

I'm a married mother of two teenage daughters and my family are very excited about getting started with my family day care business.

I believe children should feel safe and loved at all times. I offer indoor and outdoor activities where children can play and develop into unique individuals.

Having been a registered nurse since 1994 I understand the long working hours that families may experience. I am prepared to work a range of hours to accommodate the needs of families.

In 2012 I plan to begin my Certificate III in Children’s Services.

Hi, I'm Nicole.

I am the mother of three children aged 7 years, 4 years and 6 months. I was a member of the Royal Australian Navy for 5 years and then set up my family day care business in Port Kennedy after the birth of our third child.

I really love being at home and being able to provide a happy environment for children to learn and grow as individuals. I believe children need consistent boundaries, love and respect as these provide the foundation for many life skills. I provide nutritional meals and snacks and encourage children to be active and enjoy life.

I offer a flexible service and understand the duty hours associated with naval personnel. I am able to work weekends and overnights as well as regular hours throughout the week. I offer competitive rates and being part of Elite Childcare, all Child Care Benefit rebates will apply.
