Hello, my name is Melissa Braun and as the Educator of Leah’s Place Family Day Care, I would like to welcome you to our home. In my family there is my fiancé Russell, Xavier our 17yr old son and Leah, our 3yr old daughter. Leah’s Place Family Day Care is proudly registered with Elite Childcare. Being a member of Elite Childcare, I am provided with a wide range of support, on-going training and access to a range of integrated services. I have just recently completed Certificate III in Children's Services. The children will be able to take pride in their activities and achievements that they will create with me and from the experiences that I will be able to provide for them.

Hi! I'm Michelle. I'm mother of three: Tyla (13), Josh (11) and Matthew (4). I have my Certificate III and Diploma in Children’s Services and am familiar with the Early Years Learning Framework. I believe that our little people need to be nurtured and encouraged to grow into the best big people that they can be. As a family day care educator I will provide a safe, healthy, happy and stimulating environment where children feel safe, secure and loved this will be achieved through play and activities. I work evenings and weekends for parents on shift work or who simply need some time out.

Hi, I'm Simone! I have been operating my early care and education business for over eight years in rural and remote areas. I am a qualified educator with three school aged children of my own. My husband works away in the mines and pops in every now and then to visit us. Oscar our boxer dog thinks he is human and our three guinea pigs complete our family. I feel my service provides a home away from home atmosphere that provides a stable, positive and nuturing environment. I am very relaxed, confident and well organised person who loves children and experiencing life through their eyes. I like to incorporate outings outside of the home as well as programming for at home activities to meet the children's individual needs. I feel it is important that our children learn to utilise what programmes our community has to offer. I am continuously improving my skills in the child care industry to provide a better understanding and knowledge to benefit myself and the children and parents I provide care for. The children and I share lots of laughs, achieve many milestones, some tears, a few tantrums, lots of cuddles and most of all have fun in learning about everything that's important and interesting to a child.
