Educators as members of Elite Childcare must also adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in their membership agreement in addition to Elite Childcare Policies and Procedures.
Elite Educators are selected using the following criteria:
- Formal qualifications Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services
- Committed to professional development through continuous improvement and reflective practice
- Skills and knowledge to manage a small business
- Commitment to developing respectful and reciprocal partnerships between Elite Childcare stakeholders
- Knowledge of good nutrition, health, hygiene and safety
- Demonstrated ability to respond to children in an appropriate manner
- Ability to plan and provide appropriate play experiences for children in care
- Respectful acceptance of diversity, inclusive practices and families.
- Commitment to the Elite Childcare brand.

We will answer your questions and ask you to complete and submit the affiliate membership application with payment of $100. This payment includes initial telephone support, application processing including a telephone interview, reference checks and a personal visit to your home. The purpose of the visit will be to use our experience to offer suggestions on any modifications that may be required to obtain a license as well as to brainstorm how your floor plan can accommodate your unique childcare environment within your home.
Communication and compatibility are essential elements of entering into a business partnership. We use the contact above to allow you and your family and Elite Childcare to determine your suitability to the Elite Childcare team. Once this is decided you will be required to pay $295 for your Elite Childcare Establishment Fee.

What is the Elite Childcare Business Pack?
This pack contains all the paperwork required in operating your successful Family Day Care Education and Care Service. It includes policies and procedures, templates, posters, advertising materials and lots more.
Do I have to join Elite Childcare?
No, Elite Childcare is one of your business partnership options, however we strongly recommend you research the industry to find the business support partner who best suits your unique needs. For contact details (click here).
I already have a family day care license, what do I need to do to join Elite Childcare, and how long will it take to change?
Congratulations on your decision to investigate your business partnership options! We have developed a process to cause minimal disruption to both your families and service whilst you transition. We recommend you allow at least 28 days for complying with any existing agreements you may have, however we have previously completed transfers in 14 days.
What other fees are there?
To continue offering support to your business Elite Childcare charges the following ongoing fees:
- 8% administration levy plus gst – If you earn $100.00 we invoice you for $8.00 plus $0.80c gst. This cost is a tax deductable business expense. There is a minimum payment of $55.00 per week.
